BCNJ History
Specialty Results
The Bulldog Club of New Jersey (BCNJ) was founded in 1936. We are a specialty club, which means we the only dogs involved our activities are Bulldogs, as defined by the official Standard of the Breed.
We hold two futurities a year along with our match shows. (Match shows are informal events used to train young puppies and handlers for showing). Futurities are a breeders' stakes where breeders compete young dogs of the same age range. Dogs in the futurity are generally between 6 months and a year old at the time of their futurity. You can view a list of the futurity winners and their breeders by clicking on the link above
We have held one or
two specialty shows each year since our founding (except when prohibited during
World War II. By clicking on the links above, you can see the names of the
dogs and bitches taking Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Winners,
both Winners, and both Reserves at these shows (where that information is
retrievable)
